We're all together again in a NEW MGM mystery comedy!"; "Together again in a NEW mystery comedy!"; "Story by Stanley Roberts"; "Based on characters created by Dashiel Hammett"; one of the very popular "Thin Man" movies) starring William Powell (as Nick Charles), Myrna Loy (as Nora Charles), Keenan Wynn, Dean Stockwell (as Nick Jr.), Philip Reed, Gloria Grahame (in her sixth movie role!), Patricia Morison, Marie Windsor, Jayne Meadows, Ralph Morgan, Leon Ames, and Asta Jr. (the wire-haired fox terrier dog!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had tears and small paper loss in the part of the vertical fold that went through the center of Loy's face, and an uneven horizontal tear running from her cheek to Powell's chin. There were creases, tiny tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of the other folds. There were pinholes, tears, and tape stains around the edges. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was backed pretty well, but the person who did so only did slight restoration in Loy's face, and the damage there is quite noticeable, and they didn't do border restoration either (see our image). Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
