An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Affairs of Cellini, 1934 Gregory La Cava Florence Italy historical sculptor romantic comedy ("At noon... she demanded his head!"; "At midnight... she lost her own!"; based on the play by Edwin Justus Mayer; about a famous Italian sculptor who was far more interested in having affairs with the most beautiful women, whether or not they were married, which put his life in jeopardy) starring Constance Bennett, Fredric March (in the title role as Benvenuto Cellini), Frank Morgan (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Fay Wray, and Vince Barnett. Note that Frank Morgan's performance (along with Franchot Tone's in Mutiny on the Bounty) lead the Academy to create the Best Supporting Actor category.

Important Added Info: Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. There are faint vertical scuffs over Morgan's image at left and one above March's head. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
