There were three incredibly successful movies starring Buster Crabbe in the title role in 1936, 1938, and 1940, Flash Gordon, Flash Gordon's Trip to Mars, and Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe. The character became widely known and has been used in a wide variety of media, including motion pictures, serials, television, and animated series. Important Added Info: Note that this is "The 'Pop-Up' Flash Gordon", which was published by Pleasure Books in 1935 and included three great pop-ups! Also note that we have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads. Condition: good. There is slight staining at the top of the spine that is most noticeable on the third pop-up. There is also small paper loss on the back of the left page of the third pop-up, which caused damage to the page behind it, affecting a paragraph of words on that page.
