An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 1/4" x 9 1/4" Movie Still (Learn More) Young At Heart, the 1954 Gordon Douglas romantic musical ("Together for the first time! Terrific from the first moment!"; "Nobody knew what a guy like Barney would do next - and she didn't care - just so he did it with her!"; "The dream team! Doris Day and Frank Sinatra all wrapped up in each other and singing their hearts out for you!"; "Warner Bros.' heart-singing story with all that's so swell about Doris Day and all that's so special about Frank Sinatra!"; "All Young... all Heart... and all Wonderful!"; "Another award winning sensation role for the new Sinatra - bringing love in has own special way to Doris Day in the most heart singing story ever presented by Warner Bros.") starring Doris Day, Frank Sinatra, Gig Young, Ethel Barrymore, Dorothy Malone, Alan Hale Jr., Robert Keith, and Elisabeth Fraser. Note that this was a musical remake of the 1938 Lane Sisters movie, "Four Daughters"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of the still, and then folded over to the front. This was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby (and of course, the snipe would be folded backwards, so it would not show). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, THE SNIPE DOES NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE FRONT OF THE STILL! The still measures 7 1/4" x 9 1/4", but it does not appear to be trimmed. Condition: very good to fine.
