An Original Vintage Theatrical Chapter #4 (The Bridge of Peril) Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Zorro's Fighting Legion, the 1939 John English & William Witney south-of-the-border masked hero cowboy western serial ("A Republic serial in 12 chapters"; we have never seen this movie, but based on the advertising, we can tell that Zorro recruits a whole lot of guys to be "assistant Zorros"; we wonder where they ordered all those Zorro costumes from!) starring Reed Hadley (in the title role as Don Diego/Zorro), Sheila Darcy, William Corson, Leander De Cordova, Edmund Cobb, and Carleton Young (as Benito Juarez). Note that we show no record of a U.S. release of this serial as an edited feature version, but it seems that such a version was created for international release, because the non-U.S. posters we have seen make no reference to it being a serial. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. There is a 3" tear near the top center that was repaired with tape from the back. There are many stains and smudges scattered throughout the card, with paper loss in the left border.
