An Original 1955 (from the first release of this movie in Belgium) Vintage Theatrical Folded Belgian Movie Poster (measures 14" x 19" [36 x 48 cm]) (Learn More) Here Come the Girls, the 1953 Claude Binyon romantic musical comedy (about an entertainer who accidentally gets involved with an escaped killer) starring Bob Hope, Tony Martin, Arlene Dahl, Rosemary Clooney, Millard Mitchell, William Demarest, Fred Clark, Robert Strauss, The Most Beautiful Show Girls in the World, and Steve Calvert (in an uncredited role as the man in the gorilla suit). Note that in 1948, Steve Calvert bought Ray 'Crash' Corrigan's gorilla costume, which Corrigan had been using in movies since at least 1932. He appeared in 12 movies between 1948 and 1958 as a gorilla wearing Corrigan's costume! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14" x 19" [36 x 48 cm]. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards).
