An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie 7 3/4" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) Let's Go Native, the 1930 Leo McCarey Argentina romantic love triangle inheritance Broadway stage acting musical screwball comedy ("Jack Oakie and Jeanette MacDonald in an original farce with music"; about a Broadway dress designer who owes a ton of money, and she designs costumes for a Broadway show that is going to play in Argentina, and she has to go to South America on a boat to collect the money, and that's only the beginning of this complicated wacky comedy) starring Jack Oakie, Jeanette MacDonald, Richard 'Skeets' Gallagher, James Hall, William Austin, and Kay Francis (very low billed, in her second year of making movies!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: What a great key book still this is, but it also is a mystery! It is wonderful, because it clearly shows three images of Kay Francis, and we think the woman at left could be Jeanette MacDonald, although she doesn't look like MacDonald looked just a few years later. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that this still is a key book still, mounted to a linen backing. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic. Someone trimmed away the extra 1" from the left of the still. Condition: very good. The left 1" was neatly trimmed off (see above), and there is a tiny bit of surface paper loss in the top right blank corner. Otherwise, the still is in nice condition!
