An Original Vintage Autographed Stage Play Playbill (measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" [14 x 22 cm]; 76 pages) (Learn More)

Glenda Jackson was an English actress from the 1950s to the 1990s. Some of her movies include: Lost and Found, Sunday Bloody Sunday (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), The Nelson Affair, Hedda (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Touch Of Class (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Women In Love (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), and Salome's Last Dance. She became a member of Parliament in 1992 and was re-elected in 2010 (the only actor to ever be a member of Parliament!). She passed away in 2023 at the age of 87.
Important Added Info: Note that this playbill has been personally autographed (signed) by Glenda Jackson, who also wrote a really cool handwritten and signed 2-page letter (see our images)! Our consignor (who was a diplomat for the U.S. in exotic locations) obtained this autograph through personal correspondence with Miss Jackson (she asked her to send her a signed playbill, and she agreed to do so). Many of the people she corresponded with specifically mentioned that they were impressed by her exotic address and they seem to write longer responses because of that!

Condition: very good. Both the playbill and the letter have some minor wear.
