He rose to prominence in the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band "Black Sabbath" before leaving to start a solo career. After a brief absence from the public eye, Osbourne came storming back with new music albums and a hit reality show on MTV called "The Osbournes", which featured the domestic life of Ozzy and his family.
