The Thames Live Cinema Festival, the 1987 quad-bill ("4 classic silent films with music composed by Carl Davis who will conduct The American Symphony Orchestra"; "Special guest appearances: David Gill and Kevin Brownlow will introduce Lillian Gish at both showings of The Wind, Douglas Fairbanks Jr. at Thief of Bagdad and Leatrice Gilbert Fountain at Flesh and the Devil and The Big Parade.") of silent films which was held from March 5th to the 8th at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The films included: The Wind, the 1928 Victor Sjostrom melodrama starring Lillian Gish, Lars Hanson, Montagu Love, and Dorothy Cumming AND The Big Parade, the classic 1925 King Vidor romantic World War I (WWI) romantic melodrama starring John Gilbert, Renee Adoree, and Hobart Bosworth AND Flesh and the Devil, the 1926 Clarence Brown romantic melodrama starring John Gilbert, Greta Garbo, and Lars Hanson AND The Thief of Bagdad, the classic 1924 Raoul Walsh action adventure thriller starring Douglas Fairbanks, Snitz Edwards, and Charles Belcher
