An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Gloria Jean was an adolescent actress from the 1940s to the 1960s. She came along at a perfect time, because Deanna Durbin was outgrowing her adolescent roles at Universal, and Gloria Jean replaced her in the same sorts of movies. She had a lot of popularity throughout the 1940s, but her career wound down in the late 1940s, and she mostly retired to raise a family. Some of her movies include: Never Give a Sucker an Even Break, The Under-Pup, and Mister Big. She passed away in 2018 at the age of 92. Important Added Info: Note that this really cool still shows Gloria Jean at age 11, just a year after she was signed to a contract. She is with her 10 year-old and 4 year-old sisters (she also had a 14 year-old sister, who was training for the Olympic swimming and diving team).
