Note that this is one of 17 bulk lots of wardrobe test photos we were recently consigned and are currently auctioning in 17 separate auctions. Such photos are many times more rare than regular stills, so this is a rare opportunity to acquire one or more of these. Sadly, this was all that our consignor had, so there won't be any other chances after this to purchase from this wonderful find. Note that all of these wardrobe test photos have a visible slate or index card in the image that gives the details about the movies. The studios would use these images for reference if they needed to shoot additional footage at a later time. Note that the items in this lot are mostly from the 1950s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Diane Varsi was an actress from the 1950s to the 1970s. Some of her movies include: Compulsion, Peyton Place (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and Johnny Got His Gun. She passed away in 1992 at the age of 54.
