An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Dudley Moore was an English actor from the 1960s to the 1990s. He was originally part of a stand-up comedy act with Peter Cook, and they were a forerunner of Monty Python. He was in three extremely successful comedies, each in a different decade: Arthur (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; in the title role), Bedazzled, and '10'. He passed away in 2002 at the age of 66. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Dudley Moore! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Finally, note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that it WAS printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us! So it is an original still from , but it was printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahoney Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
