Note that this classic novel was written in 1880, and there were numerous stage versions and an early silent version in 1907, but the definitive silent version was made in 1925 by Fred Niblo with Ramon Novarro in the leading role, and then this classic sound version. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. Note that the card has a very minor printing defect, which is a series of faint light pink and blue lines down the left edge of the left blank border. This was a very minor printing defect that occurred during the printing of these cards, and it is found on many 1950s and early 1960s lobby cards, and few collectors consider it much of a defect at all, because it is in the left edge of the blank border, has no effect on the image, and would likely be on all examples of this lobby card. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
