An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded German Movie Poster (measures 37 1/4" x 54 1/4" [95 x 138 cm]) (Learn More) Unser Kleiner Junge (literally translates to "Our Little Boy"), the 1941 Boleslaw Barlog German family comedy (about a woman who gives birth not knowing who the father is so she is harassed and decides to take her life, but all of the suspected fathers come together to raise him, and when his real father is discovered, they refuse to give him up!) starring Hermann Speelmans, Hilde Jansen, Lotte Koch, Ernst Von Klipstein, Ernst Waldow, Reinhold Bernt, Paul Westermeier, Jessie Vihrog, and Max Gulstorff. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Of course, this exact plot was used for many different movies over the years, including the 1987 U.S. version called "Three Men and a Baby"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we were consigned this poster (which is a "country of origin" poster for this German movie!). It was printed in Germany during World War II. There are very few German movie posters from during World War II in existence (because of the massive paper shortages in Germany during World War II), and most of those few are in museums. It is likely that German posters from during the Nazi era are even more rare than those from before that era, because most of those that survived the war would have been destroyed right after the war!
