Shakedown, the 1936 David Selman romantic murder mystery kidnapping crime thriller ("They won't pay... Or shut up!"; "Ripped Red-Hot form the Headlines!"; about a poor young man in love with a rich beautiful woman; he wants her to wait to marry him until he has money, and she doesn't want to wait, then she is kidnapped and a ransom is demanded!) starring Lew Ayres, Joan Perry, Thurston Hall, Victor Kilian, and Henry Mollison. Note that Joan Perry had been a former model who was discovered by Columbia head Harry Cohn. He put her in a bunch of movies, and then married her, and in 1941, she retired.
