An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (measures 14" x 22") (Learn More) Come Across, the 1929 Ray Taylor romantic crime melodrama ("From William Dudley Pelley's story 'The Stolen Lady'"; about a woman who thinks she's become romantically involved with a handsome gangster, but actually, he is a playwright who is doing research for his newest play!) starring Lina Basquette, Reed Howes, Flora Finch, Crauford Kent (billed as "Craufurd Kent"), and Gustav von Seyffertitz. Note that this movie was silent, but a six-minute dialogue sequence was added to the end of the movie just before it was released (so it could be claimed to be a partial sound movie!). Condition: fair. water stains, discoloration, and rippling throughout the card (including some in the stars' images at lower center); theater name and play date neatly printed in the blank area at top; paper loss in each blank corner as well as some 3" and smaller tears around the edges of the card (more so in the bottom edge); enlarged tack hole in the woman's back at lower left as well as two in the red background at left; smudges, scuffs, and creases throughout the card (more so around the edges); Please do not bid on this window card unless you can accept its defects or are willing to have it restored!
