An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 28" x 41") (Learn More) All American News!, the 1940s All-American black African American newsreel (All-American was a company that made all-black movies in the 1940s, and they must have also made newsreels that were shown in all-black theaters with news of interest to black African Americans; given that we have seen newsreel posters that are numbered in the high 200's, they must have made a great number of these newsreels!). If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is Volume 6 Issue No. 276 from this newsreel with the headlines, "First Negro Resort in Florida Opens"; "Carver Recipe Could Save Europe", "Atlanta U Receives High Rating", "and other exclusive news events"! Also note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 41". Please do not bid on this poster thinking it is 27" x 41". Finally, note that this poster was mailed to the "Regent Theatre" in Youngstown, Ohio, and the address label was pasted directly on the back of the poster! Another label on the back of the poster notes that the poster was sent through the mail from Chicago, Illinois (the postage was 35 cents!), and the poster has a postage meter stamp with an "All-American" imprint that reads "All American is the Acknowledged Leader in All-Colored Cast Motion Pictures". Note that neither of these labels have much effect on the front (there are lots of creases throughout the poster and separation on the top and bottom of the vertical foldline, but none of that was caused by the labels on the back). Normally, one might think these labels on the back are a detraction, but in this case, I think they are a clear cool addition to this poster! Condition: good. Learn More about condition grades
