An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Herald (measures 3 1/4" x 7 1/4" [8 x 18 cm]; 2 pages) (Learn More)

Brewster's Millions, the 1921 Joseph Henabery silent man-who-must-spend-two-million-dollars-in-one-year-to-get-his-inheritance slapstick comedy ("1000 Laughs"; "Adapted from the novel by George Barr McCutcheon and the play by Winchell Smith") starring Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle ("Worth His Weight in Gold"; in the title role as Monte Brewster), Betty Ross Clarke, Fred Huntley, Marian Skinner, James Corrigan, and Jean Acker. Note that this has proven to be an extremely popular concept for a movie, for there have been versions of it made in 1914, 1921, 1926 (with a female Brewster!), 1935, 1945, 1961, and then again in 1985. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this herald, and that example has now been reconsigned to us, so this is still the only example we have ever auctioned!

Condition: good. There are many creases throughout the herald.
