Date Sold 5/10/2022 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 8 1972 Re-Release Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Professionals, the 1966 Richard Brooks (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) south-of-the-border foiled-kidnapping-of-rich-man's-wife cowboy western ("When you want action - this is the one you want!"; "Excitement!"; "Based on a novel by Frank O'Rourke"; "Written for the screen and Directed by Richard Brooks") starring Burt Lancaster, Lee Marvin, Robert Ryan, Jack Palance, Ralph Bellamy, Claudia Cardinale ("as Maria"), and Woody Strode. Note that this was a "thinking man's" western, with lots of clever twists and turns, and fine dialogue. This was one of the few westerns to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director! The cards are otherwise in very nice condition (the majority are in "very good to fine" condition) and they have no tape whatsoever on the front or back, and they never have had any restoration of any kind!
