An Original Vintage Paperbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh) (Learn More) Rasputin and the Empress, the 1932 Richard Boleslawski historical Russia royal family melodrama ("The 3 Barrymores"; "Greatest trio on the screen!"; "Their first screen appearance together!"; "Screen Play by Charles MacArthur"; about the decline and fall of the ruling Russian family, and the strange "mad monk" Grigori Rasputin, who gained huge control over the royal family, and hastened their decline) starring John Barrymore (as Prince Paul Chegodieff), Ethel Barrymore (in the title role as Czarina Alexandra), Lionel Barrymore (in the title role as Grigori Rasputin), Ralph Morgan, Diana Wynyard, Tad Alexander, C. Henry Gordon, and Jean Parker (uncredited, as Princess Maria; in her second movie role!). This movie is best remembered because it was the three legendary Barrymores' only screen appearance together, and MGM heavily promoted that aspect of the movie!
