An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Stronger Than Desire, the 1939 Leslie Fenton romantic crime blackmail melodrama ("The Story of Lonely Wives"; "Based on a novel by W.E. Woodward"; based on the story "Evelyn Prentice" by W.E. Woodward; about the wife of a prominent attorney, and after he cheats on her, she has an affair, but then her lover is killed, and she is blackmailed, and another woman is accused of the crime, and she asks her lawyer husband to defend that woman!) starring Virginia Bruce, Walter Pidgeon, Lee Bowman, Ann Dvorak, Ilka Chase, and Rita Johnson. Note that this was a faithful remake of the 1934 "Evelyn Prentice", starring William Powell and Myrna Loy. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
