An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Creature Walks Among Us, the 1956 John Sherwood Universal science fiction (sci-fi) underwater sea monster horror thriller sequel ("Beauty and the man-beast from a lost world!"; "Terror runs rampant on the city streets... as the Monster strikes Again!"; "A city screams in terror!"; "All new underwater thrills!"; "Half monster! ...half man! A clutching claw at the heart of civilization!"; "Science baits his fury with a woman's beauty!"; "No chains can hold the power of his passions!"; "Terror stalks the city's streets!!"; "Half monster! Half man! On a rampage of revenge!"; "Story and Screenplay by Arthur Ross"; set in The Florida Everglades and San Francisco!) starring Jeff Morrow, Rex Reason, Leigh Snowden, Gregg Palmer, Maurice Manson, Ricou Browning (who played the monster underwater), and Don Megowan (who played the monster on land). Note that, in this film, scientists transport the creature from the Everglades in Florida to San Francisco, California! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Reynold Brown Condition: good. The poster had an unfortunate significant defect (someone took scissors and cut out both of the creature's eyes plus the left part of his "forehead"). Otherwise, there was tiny paper loss at the middle crossfold, and minor wear on the foldlines. There were pinholes around the edges of the poster. Some restorer did a nice job of re-creating the missing area in his face (I would say that most people would not realize the extent of the restoration, even looking at the poster close up, although they could tell that there had been some restoration in that area). The poster is otherwise in pretty good condition, but please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept this significant defect (although it has been well restored)!
