An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Youth Runs Wild, the 1944 Mark Robson teen juvenile delinquency melodrama ("It Explodes in your face!"; "The Truth about modern youth!"; "Emotion in the raw!"; "What happens to these unguarded youngsters? Learn the truth in RKO Radio's fearless drama"; "Produced by Val Lewton"; about a problem that began during World War II, when fathers were off at war and mothers were working, and their teen children were left alone at home, where they would often get in serious trouble) starring Bonita Granville, Kent Smith, Jean Brooks, Glen Vernon (billed as "Glenn Vernon"), Tessa Brind, and Lawrence Tierney (in his very first movie!). Note that this movie was produced by Val Lewton right in the middle of when he was making his very successful low budget horror movies. The topic it deals with, "latch-key children" who are virtually parent-less, is an even bigger problem in today's world than it was during World War II! Also note that Lawrence Tierney plays a man who owns a garage that fences stolen automobiles. He would go on to play a long series of tough guy roles, including many memorable ones.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: poor. There is much tattering, separation, and some paper loss along the foldlines and around the edges of the poster (repaired with much tape from the back that prevents the poster from laying completely flat). There is rippling and discoloration throughout the poster from exposure to moisture.
