Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny bits of fine surface paper loss scattered on parts of the vertical fold, and some scuffs and smudges in the title area, with minor wear on the other folds and in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Certainly, any talented restorer could easily touch up the tiny defects that the first restorer left alone, although I could see many collectors displaying the poster just as it is.
