If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this 40x60 poster, and that was 7 years ago. The person who purchased it had it restored and reconsigned it to us, so it is still the only example we have ever auctioned! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was never folded. It had a large number of creases, scuffs and small stains scattered in various areas throughout. It had many small tears around the edges with pairs of staple holes scattered in the image, including two pairs of them in Hepburn's cheek. There was a 5" tear in the upper left border extending into Bogart's shoulder. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Of course, one would prefer a better condition example of this ultra rare poster with a completely different image, but this is the only example of this poster we are aware of, so it might be a very long wait to find one in better condition.
