Strayer United States Marine Corps (USMC) military romantic melodrama (about a poor man who joins the Marines, and quickly angers a general for kissing his daughter, but the Marine later rescues the general's daughter from bandits and everything ends well) starring Richard Dix (in the title role as Michael Moran), Ruth Elder, Roscoe Karns, Brooks Benedict, and E.H. Calvert. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this one-sheet, and that was 30 years ago! It is definitely possible that this is the exact same poster making its way back to us 30 years later, but we can't say for certain. What IS linenbacking? The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some small tears and tiny paper loss on parts of the folds. Either before or after the poster was backed, it was displayed, and the reds in the poster faded somewhat.
