An Unfolded Travel Poster (measures 25" x 40" [64 x 102 cm]) (Learn More)

TWA: Philadelphia, the 1950s/1960s (see below) airplane airline aviation travel poster promoting travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania aboard TWA (Trans World Airlines) and featuring art of a statue of William Penn in front of Independence Hall by Swanson. Note that we have seen multiple versions of TWA: Philadelphia posters with this art. Some have a silhouette of a jet aircraft and some have an image of a prop-driven Constellation aircraft. We think the one with the Constellation image dates from the 1950s, and the jet silhouette dates from the 1960s.

Condition: very good. There is a 1/2" tear in the left of the top edge of the poster. There are a few very minor creases scattered throughout the poster (mostly around the edges). The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well.
