An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 40 3/4" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) I Was a Teenage Frankenstein (released in England as "Teenage Frankenstein"), the 1957 Herbert L. Strock monster horror thriller ("Body of a boy! Mind of a monster! Soul of an unearthly thing!"; about a professor who animates a dead teenager who then goes on a killing spree, a clever updating of the Frankenstein story to match the current teen movie craze!) starring Whit Bissell, Phyllis Coates, Robert Burton, Gary Conway (in the title role as the monster), and George Lynn NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 27" x 40 3/4" [69 x 104 cm]. Condition: good. The poster had tiny separation at the top two crossfolds and someone had put a piece of tape on the back of those areas. It also had small paper loss in the center of the bottom blank border and someone taped a piece of paper to the back of that area. There was paper loss in the right end of the top blank border and someone put paper tape on the back of that area. There are many tiny pinholes around the edges, with light staining in the bottom right blank corner. Someone had the unusual idea of laminating the BACK of the poster only (the front is not laminated at all)! No restoration was performed, so the lamination is over the pieces of tape described above. The lamination on the back does not hurt the poster, but it likely can't be removed (without great effort), so one likely will have to live with the defects described above (which are not all that serious), because there is likely no linenbacking of this poster, due to the lamination on the back.
