Pizzicato Five was a Japanese jazz pop rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) band from 1979 to 2001. The band was formed by Yasiharu Konishi and Keitaro Takanami, and were a prominent component in the Shibuya-kei movement of the 1990s. Some of their albums include: Couples, Overdose, and Happy End of the World. Their music has appeared in numerous movies television episodes, and video games.
