Who will dare?"; the second of the Universal Frankenstein movies, and the only example I am aware of where a sequel is clearly superior to the original movie!; this is James Whale's masterpiece, and almost everyone agrees it is among the finest movies ever made, regardless of genre) starring Boris Karloff (as the Frankenstein monster), Colin Clive (as Dr. Henry Frankenstein), Valerie Hobson (as the bride of Dr. Frankenstein), Elsa Lanchester (in the title role as the bride of the Frankenstein monster, and also as Mary Shelley!), Una O'Connor, Ernest Thesiger (as Dr. Pretorius), E.E. Clive, O.P. Heggie, John Carradine, Dwight Frye (as Karl), Gavin Gordon, and Neil Fitzgerald NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: This still from this incredibly classic movie is "as good as it gets", because it has a wonderful image of the four leads of the movie, and from the climax of the film! We have never auctioned it before! Also note that this is one of a truly incredible group of 15 horror stills we were just consigned, which we are auctioning in 15 separate auctions! They were assembled by a very longtime collector in the 1960s, and he has kept them all these years! Several of them are truly "as good as it gets", and they are all first release stills, including ones from Dracula, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, and more! This is an incredible opportunity to purchase one or more of these wonderful stills, and it may be many years before we ever offer some or any of them again! Condition: very good. There is a faint partial diagonal crease at middle left, with a few faint tiny stains in the top and right blank borders. Otherwise, the still is in pretty nice condition!
