Artist: Gaston Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this Danish poster, and one of those examples has now been reconsigned to us, so this is still only one of two examples we have ever auctioned! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had extra foldlines next to the vertical and horizontal fold, and there were creases, tiny tears, and tiny areas of surface paper loss in both foldlines. There were many pinholes around the edges of the poster. There were areas of paper loss in the middle left and middle right in the solid background area and a censor stamp in the top left. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see clearly signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
