Now its giant wings rage across the heavens... Destroying the world with super-sonic shock-blast!"; "More startling than Jules Verne!"; "Most Horrifying Hell-Creature That Ever Menaced All Mankind!"; "The boy... The Girl... But It Lead Through Hell!"; "This is a blistering drama of the strong and the meek... and how they reacted to a suicide assignment!"; "They departed at 0600 hours Some were tough and some were soft... but battle scarred heroes all ...and they blended their courage and cowardice to fight an enemy for 72 nightmare hours!" ) starring Ronald Lewis, Stephen Boyd, Victor Maddern, Michael Caine (in his first major role!), Robert Shaw (in an early role), George Baker, Harry Andrews, Stanley Baker, and Michael Medvin NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a great professionally made local theater display for this double-bill, but the majority of the poster relates to Rodan, and all of the wonderful image! The date on the poster correlates to 1958, the year after Rodan was released in the U.S. This is a die-cut poster on a heavy backing (it looks like it could have been a standee, but there is nothing on the reverse of it, and no signs that there ever were). It is similar in dimensions to a window card, but it is die-cut, and on a much heavier stock. The poster seems far too professional to be created locally, and we wonder who made it and if it was used by other theaters as well (we have never seen or heard of it before). If anyone knows more about this display, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good to fine. The poster has some minor border defects, but is overall in nice condition!
