The Murdered Sub-Postmasters, the 1974 English crime murder reward notice poster ("25,000 Reward"; "Shooting of three Sub-postmasters:"; "Donald Skepper"; "Derek Astin"; "Sidney Grayland") encouraging people to come forward with any information about the armed raids on sub post offices. The suspect in these crimes was dubbed "Black Panther" by the press due to his quiet movements and dark clothing. However, despite the reward, there were no solid leads. In 1975, Donald Neilson was arrested after threatening police officers with a gun, and evidence connected him to the sub-postmaster murders (and the kidnapping and murder of an heiress). He was sentenced to life imprisonment.
