If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that Italian posters from the first few years after World War II are among the most rare posters there are! Apparently, there were still major paper shortages in Italy, and few posters were printed, and most were recycled. This is an extremely rare first release Italian poster from 1947. Also note that this Italian one-sheet measures 27 3/4" x 39 1/4" [70 x 100 cm]. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny creases, tiny tears, and tiny bits of paper loss on part of the vertical fold, and a lesser amount on the horizontal folds. It had darkening around the edges and some along the folds. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
