Dubbed the "King of Rock and Roll", he is regarded as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century. His energized interpretations of songs and sexually provocative performance style, combined with a singularly potent mix of influences across color lines during a transformative era in race relations, led him to both great success and initial controversy. Having sold over 500 million records worldwide, Presley is recognized as the best-selling solo music artist of all time by Guinness World Records. Some of his movies include: Blue Hawaii, Love Me Tender, Viva Las Vegas, and Jailhouse Rock. He passed away in 1977 at the age of 42. Note that the items in this lot are mostly from the 1970s. We have pictured the front and back of all the magazines in a stack, plus two interior 2-page spreads from one. Please know that these magazines are sealed in bags and are ready for shipping, and we cannot answer any questions about them or look through them for you, so please bid (or do not bid) based on the images we have provided. Measurements: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"Condition: very good. A few of the Hound Dog magazines have some discoloration on the left of the cover and one of the Story of Elvis magazines has discoloration, but otherwise, they are in generally good condition. Please note that we briefly attempted to check to see if the magazines are complete and uncut, and we believe that they are. However, there is a slight possibility that we might have missed a small cut or a page that was neatly removed, and if that happens, you can return the magazines. We have solely provided an overall description of the condition of the magazine, but you can also refer to our super-sized images of the covers.
