An Unfolded Puerto Rican Special Poster (measures 13 1/2" x 19 1/2" [34 x 50 cm]) (Learn More)

Jose (Fefel) Varona was a Puerto Rican student killed in 1968 at the age of 21 by American airplanes. He and other students representing the Latin American and Caribbean Continental Organization of Students (OCLAE) and the University Federation Pro Independencia were visiting Hanoi, Vietnam.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster (which has a Spanish tagline that translates to "Martyr of the New Struggle of Independence for Puerto Rico") was created in 1968, after Mr. Varona was killed, in hopes of helping him become a martyr to help win Puerto Rico's independence from the United States. It would have been posted at rallies in Puerto Rico. Interestingly, Puerto Rico is still a possession of the United States, and it has recently begun the process of declaring bankruptcy.

Condition: good to very good.
