Le Mepris (released in English-speaking countries as "Contempt"), the 1963 (released in the U.S. in 1964) Jean-Luc Godard French/Italian movie-making romantic love triangle melodrama ("Bardot is the body beautiful... she knows it... and she shows it!"; "Based on the novel by Alberto Moravia"; a very complex story about a screenwriter who is assigned by his producer to make a screenplay of "The Odyssey" more commercial, and he has a beautiful young wife who believes he wants her to sleep with the producer to help his career) starring Brigitte Bardot, Jack Palance, Michel Piccoli, Fritz Lang, and Giorgia Moll. Note that the director of the movie-within-the-movie is identified as Fritz Lang, and the legendary director plays himself!

Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this partially Italian movie!

Condition: poor to fair. The poster is in much lesser condition. It has scuff marks, creases, patches of slight discoloration and of scattered throughout. It has tears of varying lengths around the edges and some fold separation and several of those areas are repaired with tape from the back that slightly bleeds through to the front (in portions of the edges). Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid and please do not bid unless you can accept the defects described above.
