An Original Vintage English Movie Trade Ad (measures 11" x 17" [28 x 43 cm]; 2 pages) (Learn More)

Buck Privates Come Home (released in England as "Rookies Come Home"), the 1947 Charles Barton military returning-to-civilian-life comedy slapstick sequel ("They're topping 'Buck Privates' for laughs!"; "All new!"; "They're out of the Army ...and down to Mirth!"; "They're back from the front! ...and twice as terrific!"; "Based on a Story by Richard Macaulay and Bradford Ropes") starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Tom Brown, Joan Fulton, Nat Pendleton, Donald MacBride, Beverly Simmons, and Don Porter

Important Added Info: Note that this is a great two-page trade ad taken out of Kinematograph Weekly English trade magazine. Studios would run elaborate 2-page ads in issues of this magazine, and they often had images not found on any of the regular movie posters (either English or U.S.). This 2-page trade ad was removed from a 1947 issue of this magazine, and it will look incredible displayed on the new owner's wall. The back of those two pages have text or ads for other movies from that time, and we have not pictured those back pages, because, of course, the primary interest to bidders is the great two-page color ad, which measures 11" x 17".

Condition: very good. The poster is in pretty nice condition!
