An Original Vintage Theatrical Slabbed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (mylar sleeve measures 9 1/2" x 12") (Learn More) By Candlelight, the 1933 James Whale mistaken identity romantic comedy ("From the great stage success by Seigfried Geyer"; a forgotten but apparently excellent pre-Code romantic comedy with a valet to a Count posing as the Count to win a beautiful lady who he thinks is a Countess, but actually, she is the maid of the Countess) starring Elissa Landi, Paul Lukas, Nils Asther, Esther Ralston, Dorothy Revier, Lawrence Grant, Warburton Gamble, and Lois January. Note that this movie was directed by James Whale, who is of course far better known for his direction of Universal horror classics, but this movie makes one wish he had directed more romantic comedies! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this a movie paper item that was "authenticated" and "graded" by CGC, the famous authenticator of comic books. They gave it a grade of "excellent", and encased it in a Mylar sleeve, with an informative strip at the top, and three punch holes in the border. Condition: fine.
