An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Charmer, the 1925 Sidney Olcott silent Spain New York City romantic love triangle comedy melodrama ("A gay, dazzling entertainment without a sad moment!"; "From the Novel 'Maridosa' By Henry Baerlein"; about an exotic Spanish dancer who drives men crazy, and a rich man brings her to New York, and she has a rich suitor and his chauffeur, and both men love her, and there is a jealous woman who wants the rich man, and will stop at nothing to get him) starring Pola Negri ("in her first great comedy role"), Wallace MacDonald, Robert Frazer, Trixie Friganza, and Cesare Gravina. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. There are stains in the lower left of the slide, but they appear to be on the surface of the glass and can likely be cleaned off. Learn More about condition grades
