Broadway Bill, the 1934 Frank Capra horse racing gambling romantic love triangle comedy melodrama ("Great Alone - Perfect Together!"; "Two Great Stars in The Comedy Successor to 'It Happened One Night'"; "The Comedy Successor to 'It Happened One Night'!"; "Based on the story by Mark Hellinger"; screen play "by Robert Riskin"; about a gambler who is married to the daughter of a millionaire, but she doesn't share his interests in gambling or horse racing, but her younger sister does, and it takes him a while to realize that he married the wrong sister!) starring Warner Baxter, Myrna Loy, Walter Connolly, Helen Vinson, Margaret Hamilton, Clarence Muse, and Broadway Bill the horse (in the title role). Director Frank Capra remade this film in 1950 as the musical "Riding High", in which he actually used many of the same actors so he wouldn't have to re-shoot any of the big race scenes, which were reused from this film!
