An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Seal Skins, the 1932 Morey Lightfoot and Gilbert Pratt jewel heist crime comedy short (produced by Hal Roach) starring Thelma Todd, Zasu Pitts, Charlie hall, Leo Willis, and Billy Gilbert. Note that this is one of 17 sexy comedies that Thelma Todd and Zasu Pitts made together between 1931 and 1933. They weren't great movies, but they were really popular at the box office! In 1933, Zasu Pitts was replaced by Patsy Kelly, and Todd and Kelly made an additional 22 similar sexy comedies! Thelma Todd's unfortunate "suicide" (perhaps a mob hit) in 1935 ended this popular series of shorts.

Condition: very good. There is a small stain in the upper right blank border and some faint cracks in the emulsion at upper left (mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light). Otherwise, the still is in pretty nice condition!
