Weissburg) was a Russian born actor from the 1910s to the 1930s. He starred opposite of Oliver Hardy in many of his silent comedies and was the best-known and most successful imitator of Charlie Chaplin's "Tramp" character. Some of his movies include: The Hero, The Villain, The Hobo, and His Day Out. He passed away in 1975 at the age of 82. We did previously auction this very example, but the buyer never paid for it, so we are re-auctioning it now, and it is still the only example we have ever auctioned. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on many parts of some folds, with scuffs in the solid background areas. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
