Van Dyke Navajo Native American Indian romantic love triangle melodrama ("Pagan Loves Live Again!"; "Ramon Novarro in the Pulitzer Prize novel"; "From the novel 'Laughing Boy' by Oliver La Farge"; based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel; despite its title, which is the Indian name of the lead character, this is a very somber movie about a Native American man and woman on a reservation; the woman lives in town, but she marries the Native American man to get back to her roots; she later returns to her old ways and the white man she was mistress to; her husband discovers the truth, with tragic results) starring Ramon Novarro (in the title role as Laughing Boy), Lupe Velez (as Slim Girl), William B. Davidson, Chief Thunderbird, and Catalina Rambula NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still has a stamp on the back in the form of a diamond that has "TRR" running down the center. One certainly might wonder who placed this stamp there and why. The answer is that the still (and many others we are auctioning in this set of auctions) come to us from a still collector who has collected for many decades, and long ago he began stamping the back of his stills with this stamp, and "TRR" is his initials! Each of the stills is stamped lightly, and the stamp does NOT affect the front of the still. He is a VERY advanced collector, and he has consigned many wonderful stills to us! Condition: very good.
