She Dances! She Loves!"; "She's out of this world... In Technicolor!"; "They say she kissed 2000 men!"; "Songs by Allan Roberts and Doris Fisher"; "Magic enchantment that takes you out of this world..."; about the real life goddess Terpsichore coming down to Earth after seeing how she is portrayed in a Broadway musical!) starring Rita Hayworth, Larry Parks, Marc Platt, Roland Culver, James Gleason, Edward Everett Horton, Adele Jergens, George Macready, William Frawley, James Burke, and Virginia Hunter. Note that there is an oddity about the posters for this movie. They have a 1946 NSS number, and yet the movie was not released until August of 1947. Perhaps it was intended for a December 1946 release (to qualify for awards), but when the movie was not ready in time, it ended up getting pushed back until the following August. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds. It had separation at the top crossfold, and someone put tape on the back of that area. There were a few creases, tiny tears, and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some folds. There were pinholes in the corners. Approximately 1/4" was trimmed from the top of the top blank border and from the bottom of the bottom blank border, but only blank white paper was affected. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
