The Oldest Profession"; "From the stone age to the space age."; "An adult affair in luscious color"; the movie consisted of six segments, each one directed by a different director, purporting to show amusing moments in the history of prostitution) starring Jeanne Moreau, Elsa Martinelli, Michele Mercier, Nadia Gray, Anna Karina, Raquel Welch, Martin Held, France Anglade, Marilu Tolo, Jean-Claude Brialy, and Jacques Charrier. Note that when this movie was first released in Europe equal attention was given to the various sexy stars of each of the six segments. But when it was released in the U.S. the following year, all of the attention was focused on sexy Raquel Welch! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. It has a 5 1/2" tear at upper center that has been repaired with restoration tape from the back and a much smaller tear at lower right (also repaired with tape from the back).
