An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card #2 (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest, the classic 1959 Alfred Hitchcock New York City South Dakota romantic crime suspense thriller ("The Master of Suspense weaves his greatest tale... about a secret that nobody knew... a man who never existed... and a love affair that began in an upper berth - and ended in screaming death!"; "From the killer plane in the cornfield to the cliff-hanger on George Washington's nose, it's suspense in every direction!"; "The master of suspense spins his greatest tale"; "A train may be an old-fashioned way to travel, but an upper berth can be a lovely way to go - When It's Your Time To Go......"; "Breathless excitement that races from glittering Manhattan to the great stone faces of Mt. Rushmore!"; "Written by Ernest Lehman") starring Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint, James Mason, Jessie Royce Landis, Leo G. Carroll, Martin Landau, Edward Platt, and Phillip Ober NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. There were pinholes in the corners. Someone took small pieces of brown paper tape and put them over the back of three of the corners and also put a piece of brown paper tape over the back of a 1 1/2" tear in the center of the bottom border. There was a 1" razor cut near the center of the card (in the green background below the plane's wing) and someone put a piece of brown paper tape over the back of that cut (and it is barely noticeable from the front). There was paper loss in the top left corner, and the person who put on the brown paper tape taped a piece from another card into that area, and then did crude touch up to fill in the missing sky background. There are smudges, creases, and light stains around the edges of the card. While it is clear that this card has real defects, it is also quite clear that any talented restorer could paperback this card, and in the process repair its many minor defects. After proper restoration, the card would look great, and there would be little restoration on the central portions of the card! Learn More about condition grades
