An Original Vintage Folded English Circus Poster (measures 20" x 30" [51 x 76 cm]) (Learn More)

Boswell Circus was a South African circus (who also toured worldwide) from 1913 to 2015. The Boswell family started the show in 1913 and it was one of the first shows to allow racially mixed audiences. After World War I (WWI), the circus started expanding and began to tour throughout Africa. In 1963, the circus changed it's name to the Boswell Wilkie Circus and they continued to tour up until 2001. In 2015, the circus was closed (except for private and corporate events).

Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good to fine. The poster has minor fold and border wear with a single tiny dot stain in the outer right blank border edge. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well!
