An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (measures 12" x 16") (Learn More)

Pack Up Your Troubles, the 1932 George Marshall & Ray McCarey World War I (WWI) military comedy (with dialogue written by H.M. Walker, and produced by Hal Roach; a clever story of the boys finding an orphan girl and wanting to find her relatives, but all they know is her name is "Smith", so they search through all the Smiths in the phone book) starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy (Laurel and Hardy), Don Dillaway, Jackie Lyn Dufton (billed as "Jacqueline Taylor"), Mary Carr, and James Finlayson. Note that Mary Carr became a major star in the mid 1910s around the age of 40, playing the parts of saintly mothers. She continued to make movies (switching to grandmother roles) through the mid 1930s, and then continued with mostly uncredited parts until the mid 1950s. She passed away in 1973 at the age of 99!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this window card has been trimmed and it now measures 12" x 16".

Condition: good. This window card was found in the back of a frame, used as a backing board! It had been neatly trimmed to 12" x 16" so it would exactly fit in the frame. It is exceptional good luck, that the vast majority of what was lost is pretty unimportant area, and almost all of the title, credits, and art is intact! There are small parts of some letters missing, plus half of the "D" and all of the "Y" of "HARDY", and the "ur" of "Your". There is surely some of the artwork at right missing, including part of Hardy's ear, and possibly some art from the bottom edge of the poster. Certainly, a talented restorer could re-create the missing areas, or I would think most collectors could display this great card just as it is, and live with the areas of paper loss.
